Well known in the local property business for many years, Nick Brett set up his own specialist company in April 2004 and it is going from strength to strength. Both commercial and residential markets are catered for, but residential sales do not form part of the varied day-to-day workload. "I leave that to others ", says Nick, although he often works, on behalf of clients, with local agents when a house sale, or purchase, is required.
Initially, commercial property management was the core function of the business but over the four years since being established, Nick has taken on all sorts of property work including commercial sales, lettings and appraisals as well as residential lettings, management and project management. Letting and management are two distinct functions which can be undertaken separately or, indeed, together depending on the client's requirements. In addition, since taking on Sarah Davidson a commercial valuation surveyor the business has expanded to do commercial valuations and appraisals.
Nick and Sarah will also undertake rent reviews, lease renewals, property acquisitions and service charge appraisals. In fact, so broad is the spectrum of expertise, that Nick will happily accept all manner of instructions - contact him for an informal discussion. |
